I followed TSM last year with what was... looking back... great success. From the off my units dropped. From 100ish UK units per week... I was drinking on average 30-40. To cut a long story short, I messed around and ended up back sliding.. getting down about it and stopped.

My drinking got uncontrollable for a few months.

I started using Baclofen a few months back (May) and had success but the SEs where pretty brutal. I had to go to a pretty high dose and was tortured with psychological SEs which aren't as common as the physical so it was harder to get help. People over on MWO just repeat to go slow but I ended up tapering off with the help of Valium which just made things worse. I felt like I was going insane. I've had problems with benzo's and to be honest in hindsight... I'd just like to stay away from GABA agonist's as I'm a bit fragile with anxiety related issues.

My previous brand was Nalorex but can't get hold of it anymore. I'm wondering if Naltima is the brand of choice these days? I know all about the debate on Nodict and don't want to get a lot of months in and find its not working.

I really need to get my units down again as they have really gotten out of control lately with the whole Baclofen episode.

I'm using Naltima-50 Naltrexone Hydrochloride Tablets IP 50mg. I tolerate the 50mg dosage well. I'm in the USA and had to order from Canada who ordered from India - Got the Nal in 2 weeks.

Thanks Rich. I'll go ahead and order the Naltima. I've had meds from the company who make them before (Intas) and they were fine.
