It may be in this forum somewhere but I don't want to search for a long time. I don't have insurance right now so how would you suggest getting this medication and is it very expensive? I consider myself a problem drinker, not to an alcoholic yet, but I would like to use this to not become one. Also can this be taken with prozac which I currently take.

Yes, it's all over the forum but, basically, the majority of people here seem to get there pills through online pharmacies, esp. River Pharmacy and alldaychemist.com (that's where I get it). It's pretty simple and is only slightly more difficult than buying something on Amazon. It often takes up to three weeks to get the actual pills, so the initial wait can be difficult. The pills cost about $2-3 each after shipping, but can save you a lot of $$ overall if your drinking decreases. The advantage of going online is that (a) you don't have to worry about finding a doctor who will actually prescribe Naltrexone for TSM (versus for "cravings"), and (b) you don't get the dreaded "ALCOHOLIC" stamped on your medical records.

AF = Alcohol Free, and the units are calculated using the calculator at http://www.cleavebooks.co.uk/scol/ccalcoh3.htm - It's a great way to keep track of your consumption and share it with others. I track daily, others track weekly. You set it up under "User Control Panel --> Profile --> Edit signature".

Don't use 4rx, they've sold my details on and 2 1/2 years since placing an order I am inundated with spam emails, and even international phone calls from them. The emails contain my name and an address I used. I am not impressed.
