Hi all,
Its funny but I had wanted to come back on here about a year ago and say that I was cured. In all honestly, I really was "cured" but I have taken myself back into a non cured state. It is really my fault. I got confident, lazy, and honestly I just wanted to feel that buzz again. I had a few times drinking where it felt great but I usually ended up doing something really stupid. or embarrassing. luckily I haven't gotten hurt and have been good about not driving.

I need to go back to this method. And doing it the right way. Its so basic. I know what I have to do. So much has happened since I've been on here. The man I was dating when I first started Naltrexone is now my soon to be husband. I'll be getting married in a couple of months. My fear is that I will over drink on our wedding day and make a fool of myself.    I'm going to stick around here for a while until I get back into the swing of things.

Good luck to all on this journey! LOLO

Hi Lola,

I would really love to hear about your journey the 1st time. I'm in my fourth week and struggling with so many things. My consumption has escalated this week and I'm not feeling very confident. Scared, actually. Any words of wisdom from one who has been down this path would be appreciated.

Oh, and welcome back :D And congrats on your pending nuptials.

Sorry, I know its not all about me!

Lola,

You'll be a hard core TSM'er in a few months and will do fine on your wedding day - that's my prediction anyway!

When you have a chance tell us, why after a year, you needed to feel the buzz again. It might help some of us to avoid, or at least recognize, that trap.

Thanks and welcome back (that does not sound right for sure!!)

Rich

Hi Lola,

I too was well in control for a long time but started messing about partly to get the buzz but mostly to save my nal and would only take it periodically. Needless to say I went back to where I started and only now am I seeing a tiny bit of that controll come back. So welcome back and settle in, you know whats in store.
