I think you really are going to have to take the pressure off yourself. It seems as though you're mind's constantly whirring and it's hard to live life like that. Give yourself a break from thinking, reading, analysing and stressing about it all. You don't have to make a decision today or tomorrow or next week. Accept that you're not yet ready to go AF but that by following TSM you're putting the necessary steps in place so that you can choose that down the line if that's what you want. It's going to take a while to get to a place where you can truly make an informed decision...3 to 4 months at a minimum if we believe Eskapa but maybe even up to a year. In that time extinction will take place and your desire and craving for alcohol will lessen. You will then be a good position to decide whether you want to go all out AF or shoot for moderation. At the moment, a few AF days seems to initiate a craving which you then view as a failure and the whole cycle starts again.
I know it's easy for me to say, but you really need to give yourself a break. Relax and let the method work.
Have a good week.
Ruth.
