Well........ Im back. I declared cured in April 2010. I stayed on track for the rest of that year. However then I started to disobey the golden rule.... eventually taking myself back to square one. Very unhappy with myself. However Im going to get back on track....obey the golden rule and beat this for good this time. So I hope others will read this and take heed to my mistake. Not looking forward to my first NAL tomorrow(made we very nauseus the first time around) but longest of journeys starts with the first step.. Ill post to let everyone know how the second time around goes. Im hoping it works quickly this time around...

Welcome back, Hawkeye.

Everyone gets off course; maybe we think we're cured so we stop taking the pill? I know that has happened when I've felt "good" after being on an antidepressant for a while; twice I quit taking my meds only to be back in the depths of darkness (not really exaggerating) a few months later.

Thank you for coming back. It helps to underscore my determination to follow the Golden Rule, and once my drinking gets to a manageable level, to always stay on the protocol!

I'm sure I don't have to remind you to start on a half-dose 25mg for a few days to help with the nausea? Hopefully it will be less bothersome this time.

Good luck and I'll look forward to reading about your progress.

Hey, Hawkeye, I'm a three time loser so don't feel bad! What is it about us anyway!! You'd think we'd learn our lesson but noooooo.....we have to get hit over the head with a two-by-four or something

Anyway, I'm back drinking the same amount with the same frequency, with the same fear of AF days. But chugging along ok with naltrexone.

Hope you post often so we can re-aquaint. Did you know that both bob3D and Q had relapses? I think they are ok again...but boy, we've gotta stick with what works and not wander off
