Yes it is normal -- In fact, Eskapa warns that nal drinking and driving is especially dangerous and must be avoided. Sinclair noticed increased motor impairment in his nal rats, and later research showed naltrexone contributes to problems with the multitasking (i.e. divided attention) needed for driving. (Eskapa, p. 117).

I'm very glad you posted this so we had an opportunity to remind readers of this.

It's imperative that we not nal/drink and drive, and we haven't discussed this in a while. The perception of impairment may level off as we get used to nal drinking, but the actual impairment -- ??? Better safe than sorry.

I got dizzy and hot after taking Naltrexone for a period of time and still feel a little sick after I take it but I ride it out and it goes away. I also had Tinnitus for a period of time but that went away with Ginseng supplements. Hope this helps. The symptoms went away after I took it for a while.

I got very dizzy, hot, high anxiety when I took Nordict form of Naltexone. Just curious if you continued and if so, did the side effects lessen over time?

I get occasionally dizzy. If it was like that every time, I would have given up right away. A story I told before -- during my second week, I took a Nal, had just one beer, and drove. I found myself completely confused in the middle of a busy intersection. I swore that I had a green yield light, but apparently didn't and had cars coming in the wrong directions. I remember saying, "That's impossible. These lights must be broken or something." That was very dangerous. I would have blown about a .015 but was still impaired.
