The last four times I drank on Nal I ended up with a sharp pain in my upper stomach, about an inch under the sternum – very similar to the gall bladder attacks I once had, before they took the sucker out. It’s not completely debilitating like a gall bladder attack, no throwing up and thinking you’d rather be dead (some have said, incidentally, that a gall bladder attack is worse than giving birth, and I don’t doubt it) but it’s a serious and worrisome pain nonetheless. I can always still feel it a bit the next day even. Before I go an confide in my GP that I’m on Nal, and that I’m on it because I’m a piss-head, I’d like to ask if anyone here has experienced anything similar, or if anyone here is qualified to make a stab at what it could be? Thanks very much in advance.

Are you eating with your Nal before your drink?? (I'm not Dr either sorry .. ex nurse though)

Try eating plenty with pills ...

Like UKB says .. trapped wind can be extremely sore!?

Hope you've noticed an improvement since you last posted?
