Hi all

i've been on Nal for a few weeks now and progressing well ... but I have noticed sometimes I get a really itchy scalp .. particularly in the mornings an more so on AF days!? I have no scalp condition I'm aware of .. (and no nasties like head lice or anything .. I hasten to add!! ) so I was wondering could this be a possible side effect of Nal?

I see pruritis (general itching) is listed way down the bottom of the small print as a side effect .. nothing specific about scalp though? Has anyone else noticed this??

Its not too bad ... and intermittent ... I know itching (especially the nose) is a side effect of morphine ... and was wondering if anyone could explain?

Or maybe i just need to change my shampoo!!!

Not something I experienced but I do find my skin became less oily as a result of reducing alcohol intake.

Good of you to reply ... interesting about the oily skin thing too!? Hope all going well with you .. I took a Nal last night as had couple of small glasses of wine - and no itchy scalp today ... strange ...so mysterious its got me scratching my head (ha!)
