Hello! I'm very new to the Sinclair method. I spent the first part of this year (and a good part of last year) in AA, without success, before coming across the Sinclair method and "the cure for alcoholism" by chance. I'm very enthusiastic about the treatment so far. My drinking has been reduced from about 4 bottles of wine a day to between a half a bottle, and up to two bottles, nightly. I've been trying this method for three weeks now and have seen my consumption inching up a bit the last few days which concerns me.... But I'm trying to stay positive and give my brain time to rewire itself. My craving is definitely down, I no longer drink in the mornings or early afternoons. Anyhow. I'm hoping I'll begin to see a decrease soon! My ultimate goal is to drink a glass of wine here and there.
Good on the drop, yes it can creep up and you may find you have spikes every so often - don't panic keep on taking the pills.
