I'm so excited about naltrezone. I have taken it for 2 weeks. The first few days, I drink very little and feel asleep. Now I feel as though I might be drinking as much as before. What should I do now???? Thank you.

You should just keep on taking Naltrexone one hour before you start drinking. Remember, some people have a subjective experience of Naltrexone (i.e. they "feel" different when drinking it), but the real power of TSM is only going to occur in your subconscious, "behind the scenes." The goal here is not to rely on a pill to make you less crazy when you drink, but to reach a point where you become indifferent to alcohol and like you were before you ever started drinking. That goal can be reached whether you feel differently or not while obtaining the goal. When achieved, your attitude towards alcohol will be "I can take it or leave it." You won't obsess about it, and you will have absolutely no difficulty in abstaining from it.

Naltrexone and TSM takes months to work, during that time your drinking may increase, sometimes it'll decrease. Generally you should see an overall downward trend.

Keep up the good work by taking the Nal. I just read a study that suggests that the Nal is MORE effective after 3 months. It has been said on this forum that it is a roller coaster ride, but it always helps to have time frames validated by research and to know that persistence pays off. Nal on, keek
