G4M and Happy . Thanks for your posts . We 're all in month 3 and see similar
nasty bits but some good for sure , for sure .
That drinking while feeling clear thing is most odd and I've an ambiguous reaction to it , at first " Hey why aren't I getting properly drunk ?!" and I consider doing more damage but then don't feel like it (often ) then again the days I do drinkmore I supose are when the rat is pushing against the weights so to speak .
It does all feel very long indeed , but by rights we should level out like you say Happy . That would be very nice !!
All the best to you come rain come shine .
All the best to all tsmers whether you work , shirk or lurk :)

Hi everyone
As we're in the business of telling the truth here I'll do that....
I seem to have wondered off into doubtland and am not at my best right now.
I've noticed that my drinking is three times what it was in week 1 . But that's ok
to some extent ( ?? !!! )...... Looking back to week one I think I'd got so used to white knuckling the week and spiking up at the weekend that my totals were so low . So if they doubled I just see that as drinking as normal . But as they've continued to treble my cool gets a bit ruffled here .
I seem to have the desire to drink all days and getting an AF is rare , didn't happen last week .
It's rather as if the spikes got stamped on and squelched out all accross the week,
yes , admittedly no one session seems to be really excessive and I seem to stop earlier into a session but craving seems more daily present medium strength.
So to allay my doubts I check on N101CS's posts that said he had no significant change
til week 12 and &14 , how odd that I always seem to feel the effects of NALin different ways but whatevers happening isn't extinction yet .
It won't change my resolve but I hope to hope more soon.
I start thinking about that awful bit in the big book about " those unfortunate few "
I think I'd better stop before I infect someone else with my gloom .

Elfie, elfie, elfie. . . (what a great screen name!) Makes me feel sexy. :D :D :D

You're OK. We're OK. You're just overthinking the overdrinking. This weekend I totally pooped the program. Drank 9 units each night. (However. . .that was my LOWEST consumption pre-Sinclair). Then last nite, and 2/nite, have done 5 units.

Hey. . .stay the method. Hang in there. It's not about what we THINK, or what we DRINK. It's a biological/chemical process taking place way b/neath our conscious awareness. Get used to it.
Love ya!

WEEK 12
This week was definately better than last . I feel really much more positive about tsm and the hope it holds for permanent change . Acting on weak desire my consumption is often very low like 2 or 3 uk units .
I had a bad night saturday when I broke my ankle the whole evening and preceding day was particularly tense , there seem to have been several triggers firing off at once and I acted on them by drinking , about 10 /12 units , fully half what I'd've drunk pre sinc .
Last week was also the week I got lousey liver function test results , this worries me alot and I don't think I could go on with this if I didn't feel quite strong change .
I maybe wrong but I feel it within my reach to drink at safe levels .
Well , we'll see how things go as month four approaches .......?

WTE
Frankly I just haven't gone back to the doctor , I don't drink vastly although any day
I could be surprised and maybe hit 10 or more units . I won't feel really confident yet , I'm sure there's some abuse to come . But if you're going to drink I supose have to accept the consequences . I'm sick of tests etc , can't understand really the danger . Dr E didn't answer my question , maybe he can't or does n't want to .
Your last posts show you really motivated , fantastic , if you feel good now with the drinking and the bones I'm sure you'll really soar later when the going gets good .
I'm going to have a drink tonight , it's no life hobbling around

Gee, elfern. According to the research, you've just completed the early 'induction' period with TSM. You've got at least 20 more weeks to go b/4 deciding if this method is successful or not. Such early success for you is especially encouraging, in light of this. Congrats!
