Per this website I equate everything to a can of domestic beer. 5% beer, 12 us oz = 1 us unit
http://www.cleavebooks.co.uk/scol/ccalcoh3.htm200 ml of vodka is 4.51 US units. (This is a "half pint" and I round that to 5 units. So a half pint on the way home I say is 5)
375 ml of vodka is 8.45 US units. (This is a "pint" and I round that to 10 units. Typically when I say I had exactly 10 units, it probably means I had a "pint".)
750 ml of vodka is 16.9 US units. (This is a "fifith")
1750 ml of vodka is 39.4 US units. (This is a "handle")
I have always tried to relate my vodka drinking to beer drinking. Again, I evolved to vodka as it is easier to hide, however, I would still try and convert it to beer. I would basically mix a half pint with 50-60 oz of some other beverage so that it still took a while to drink and wasn't quite so potent. 5 beers = 60 oz However, during sever failures, there can be an occasional chug from the fifth in between beers.
Last night I had a pint of vodka mixed with 2 - 52 oz soft drinks. However, Monday was AF. Good and Bad here.
Monday I sucked it up and went AF, after my weekend bender.
Tuesday, had thoughts of another AF day however,
1. Bad nose bleed in the AM, took 40 minutes to stop. Probably related to combination of weekend boozing and the CPAP machine drying out nose from lots of AF sleep the night before.
2. During nose bleed work day changed from warm day in office to emergency work outside in subfreezing weather with snow/rain and heavy wind.
3. After outside work was done, truck won't start. Key/ignition socket messed up. Messed with this for a couple of hours, got ride home for spare key, went back. Still won't work. Called for a tow truck. Ran and got my "pint" and sodas for tow truck wait. Stopped at the "pint". Got home at 8pm, ate and went to bed.
Week 7 - S24, S8, M0, T10, (42 so far Week 7 with 1 AF so far, going for #2 tonight)
Sorry for the projections but here they are again. 73.5 projected for week 7.
