Hi, I have just ordered my NAL from river, but also today have found that I have got to have a minor op. How long before the surgery must I stop taking the NAL for, if it is local anaesthetic will it be affected. My doc doesnt know about the NAL because I am currently applying for new jobs which require medical history and I dont want it to show up, so I prob cant tell the surgeon. Could I just say I am allergict to opoid painkillers? Any help grateful

The half life of Naltrexone is only 4 hours, so to get to bloodstream levels of significantly less than 1%, you only need to wait a day and a half.
