Does anyone know with complete certainty if prescriptions filled online (Canada, India, ?Switzerland) are not discoverable by agencies such as intelliscripts and medpoint?

Do you think email confirmation from the pharmacy would be sufficient proof? I worry that whomever answers the emails might have no idea what I'm talking about and just respond with some generic privacy statement or even say that the data is not shared/sold without that really being the case.

Many, many thanks.

Big Brother is watching in America.
I am an RN, hippa does not protect you from insurance companies, anything your MD writes in a chart is available to an insurance company, and all your med records are available. period. there is no privacy.
all data can and will be used against you so you are denied health insurance claims and insurance.
After 30 years, I have seen this again and again.
I work in the feild and and am very careful what I tell my dr, I have already been denied healthcare for a back issues.
In the exam room, it you the MD and the insurance company.
Obamacare is the only curb so far against this. really.

I'm voting for Obama precisely b/c of the health care thing. Gotta get insurance regardless of pre-existing conditions. That trumps everything. Pre-existing conditions aren't just "cancer" or "diabetes"; it's EVERYTHING....migraines, high cholesterol, previous treatment for depression (yes they'll deny you b/c you sought treatment and were cured....frankly, they'd rather people stick their head in an oven and just get it over with). This Obamacare thing is huge and very important.
