now count is 14 months....I do not believe that I have not touched alcohol in last 14 months of my life. I am having a sense of being big winner on myself after kicking beer and smoke for good.....No toxins in body......My advice...if someone is drinking because of anxiety or depression...it is better to go for the treatment for the same and you will quit alocohol on your own..

May GOD bless..

I'm 33 days AF and your posts continue to inspire me. So glad for you that you've arrived at a much better place in life!

@Gothegene,

How are you doing? Hope you are continuing with your AF days,

@Friends,

Trust me, Life is becoming better everyday. I have beaten my derpession also. I have been 101 days smokefree. So I fee like..I can achieve whatever I want in life...

At the moment, I am so happy as I used to be, before I started drinking. In those years, neither did I grow spiritually nor emotionaly. I lost my ambitions when I started drinking beers.... I was happy in my career which was stagnant. Now looking forward to life..though I lost prime time of life to alocohol. But one can never happy by living in the past.

I am looking foward to life and planning to join MBA programme in a top institute in my country..though it is subjected to the fact if they accept me :-)

I would not wish beer/Alcohol addiction even to my enemies also..or any kind of addictions....it really kills your intelligence..

May GOD help you all....

Hello Hello!
I'm 40 days AF with one glass of wine last week...at a social function; I had taken my Nal and planned on drinking just one glass...something good for the taste, not the buzz. Experiment worked and haven't had a drink since. My goal is to drink occasionally 1 or 2 glasses of wine when the occasion calls for it (eg Christmas dinner) with the aim of there not being too many "occasions".

How did you beat depression? By meditation? Did you take any dietary supplements? (That's another problem I have.) Congratulations on ridding yourself of all those addictions!!!! You rock!

And good luck with your MBA programme!

Hello all,

Now count is 15 month and 10 days. I am able to go to parties and avoid the booze. Now even I do not cave in to social pressure also.....

I am not sure whether I am cured as I have not touched alcohol for so long. I am not sure whether I am going to start again or not if I try alcohol again.

But for me ...touching alcohol is not an option in life again so I do not care whether I am cured or not....

May GOD bless you all....
