I slipped up and had one right after ingesting Nal and then stopped. Will it work for the rest of the night?

The NAL will work, but this isn't a good situation to put yourself in. The first drink tends to be the most powerful drink from a craving standpoint. Talking NAL after drinking the first drink won't help extinguish the craving for this first drink.

Bottom line: DON'T DO THAT.

As for the rest of the night....well, I'm sure you're way past that now, but yes, after 45 minutes to an hour, the Nal will block the endorphin reward from the booze. Best that you totally understand the whole process. If you haven't read Dr. Escapa's, "The Cure for Alcoholism", do it. It's available in print, and on eBook version via Amazon and Kobo.
