I am very, very disappointed in River Pharmacy. The meds are not cheap, I have been a faithful customer and I feel that the money I spent has been wasted.

How's that a fault of any Pharmacy? Even if Nodict is not as good (I suspect it isn't but we don't know for sure), how would a pharmacy know it when it is not a known fact to anyone?

By the way, while I am waiting for my Alldaychemist order to arrive, I am happy to learn that Naltima can also be purchased from River and for the same price (when ordering 120 tablets).

Who or what is River pharmacy anyway?

Is it one woman working from her home who happens to have an addiction coaching service too? Anyone know for sure?

Why aren't "they" supplying information about Nodict? Can anyone get their hands on the patient information sheet that comes (or should) with the meds?

Why is it so hard to get this info?

I agree, I think it is basically a "garage business" as well. Debbie basically is River Pharmacy and all of the other websites she sets up.

What do you mean by info?

Debbie, if you are reading this thread. Can you let us know when you start supplying the brand that we like in the amounts that all members here can afford? You will gain customers back, and I suspect for life.

Correct me if I am wrong folks, but I believe a TSMers drug of choice online is Naltima?

Debbie has mentioned several times already that River does sell Naltima. A search for Naltima at River's web site shows it clearly.

I'm inclined to think the same too, though it's only a feeling and I have no proof. And to be fair to the woman, she is as entitled as anyone to make a living. She has been helping people to get their hands on Naltrexone who otherwise may not have been able to get it. Also, if she is spreading the word about TSM, that's a good thing.

However, as I said in another thread, I don't like how she handled the queries about Nodict and I especially didn't like her proposing her own coaching site. It was pretty much an ad hominem response: the problem is not the medication, it's you, you need coaching... To the best of my knowledge she has no valid credentials in addiction. From her site:

Quote:
Deborah completed her M.S., Addiction Psychology and also has a performing arts degree in classical piano she received at the Royal Conservatory of Music Toronto, Canada.

What's an M.S. ? a masters? from where? why tell us that she has a performing arts degree from the RCM in Toronto, which is irrelevant, and not tell us where she studied Addiction Psychology, which is highly relevant? What credentials justify $ 1750 for basically TSM and information anyone can get for free on the net?

She was fairly insistent that Nodict is not time-release, and this may be true, but we only have her word for it, she didn't supply any proof or documentation supporting her claims.

By "info" I mean: the chemical composition of Nodict, for example, the patient information leaflet that usually comes in a box of medication. There is nothing about Nodict on the FDA site or anywhere other than online pharmacies' sites and the composition or content links lead to either nothing or to another brand of Nal. I may not be finding this info because I'm not looking in the right place.

Can someone scan and post the patient info here?

Yah ONLY in 120 pill increments. "Clearly" your taking select text out of context. Some people can't afford this much at one time.
The end of the sentence that you seemed to have cut off was "in amounts that all members here can afford" which is "clearly" visible in my post.

No. River's price for Nodict and Naltima is identical - and designed to match ADC's price for Naltima when ordering 120 tablets. Yes, they are still almost $2 each but that beats $8 available in your typical "Canadian Pharmacy". What are you complaining about exactly? Quantity discounts? - That's a foundation of any business. The only ways to get Nal significantly cheaper than ADC/River is to have your insurance pay for it.

I'm just seeing this now after being away from the forum for some time.

I've used both nodict and naltima via River, and I haven't noticed any difference. At one point I had both on hand, and would use them interchangeably and had good results with both.

Using either, I do tend to chew them a bit if I'm trying to rush the 1 hours hold period.

Anyway, wanted to chime in, and that's my 2 cents.

I live in Canada, and pay $5 for each Revia brand of Naltrexone. If I had to chew my Naltrexone, I would opt for crawling over broken glass --- the taste is horrendous. So if you have any doubt about the quality of your Nal, chew it. If it tastes worse than the toenail crud from a rabid elephant, then it's Nal! Just thought I would add this to help those who aren't sure that whatever you order online is real Nal, or not!
