Yeah thats one other thing i was going to ask - even though last night when the alcohol had run out my old thinking patterns "im going to need to get up and get more in the morning" were there, i woke up and could hardly move for one thing, and after getting myself together, havent had any uncontrollable compulsion to go over the street and buy any today, infact ive been out and got something to eat which is totally not like me after drinking lol...
I also do not feel anywhere near as "anxious" and shaky, nervous and panicked as i normally would after drinking... does the shakyness have something to do with the endorphine binding that naltrexone blocks?
The past 2 times i have drank (infact the only 2 times i have drank with naltrexone) i havent drank the next morning... although i did both times have to take 2 librium(chlordiazepoxide) so that i could sleep when the alcohol had run out.. and the second time i drank more than i intended to, intended to stick to 6 cans but drank 9... although thats still a huge improvement on 3 litres of cider and 2 litres of beer or a litre of rum lol although drinking more the second time has me slightly dubious even though im not craving today
Im extremely surprised at the results but i am also scared because sometimes without naltrexone i would "get away" with it and then boom, 4 days of 24/7 drinking just when i was starting to feel confident... i really never ever want that to happen to me again
