Thanks Nalway.

I would like to remain AF for a while if I can. I really want to get that 30 year daily "habit" out of my system.

Time will tell if I will remain AF or not. Right now not drinking is fine, I try not to think to far ahead.

Hi Katie, I just got through reading your entire journey and am very inspired. I hope to have as much success as you. Today I will be alcohol free because I overindulged on Rita's last night. My plan is to try for 4 AF days per week (2 to 3 days in a row seems to be my limit before cravings hit) and then the Nal & drinking 3 days per week. Please keep reminding us of how you just don't have the desire to drink anymore. I don't wish to quit drinking. I wish to not want to drink anymore! Thank you for your story, Keek

Congrats, Katie. It's working! Isn't it wonderful.

Kekede, I wholeheartedly agree with you, and, thanks to TSM and nal, I think I'm there, I've just arrived. Good luck to you, too!

Hey TSMers!

Been ages since I've posted. Just wanted to let you all know I'm back on the suds with wonderful results!

One, maybe two, per evening MAX....NO desire for more...in fact many nights I don't finish the first one because I simply don't want it.

TSM works! I have been following faithfully for one year end of this month and I am flipping esctatic with how it's all turned out. Lots of patience, a little effort and a big, big payoff....I have my life back!

I get my blood test results next week and if all is well, and if my GP agrees I am going to try another year to see if I progress further. I am hoping this is something I can continue for life.

Hugs to you all! Nal on!!!

Katie, wooHOO!!! What a wonderful report. You're livin' the life I want to lead, too: a few beers, take it or leave it...sounds ideal. Thanks for dropping by w/ your update.

Chrissie :D

One year almost done and I feel great. I'm certain that there is more progress to be made by continuing on, but for now, this just rocks!!!

TSM works!

It just takes way longer than the book says......hang in there.

The freedom is awesome.

Hey! Glad you are doing so well! :)

Are you going to ask Q to add your name to the cured list or start a thread in the cured area?

Say, Katie - how long was your AF stretch? What's a typical week now, AF-wise? As a daily drinker I still struggle w/ that and if I don't keep at it, its really easy to get back in the "daily" groove. Even though the whole drinking experience is less compelling, still there is that knee-jerk reaction, oh, about 5 o'clock. :(

HF, I still don't feel / believe I am quite "there". I want to wait a few more months, if my drinking remains the same or less I will defo add my name to the list.

Chrissie, I can be AF with very little effort. I was almost totally AF for about three months. I had a three party occasions where I had a glass or two during that time then right back off the booze again.
I started drinking daily again to test myself and the ongoing effect of TSM. The habit is still there...I come home and pour. What I notice though, is lots of times I pour and don't drink. I pour it and think, ugh, I don't want that. I also never want any more than two...ever, without even trying. Normally one glass would lead to two, two to three and the race would be on to guzzle as much as I could before bedtime. TSM is working for sure.

Just keep plodding along, be aware of your drinking and toss in some stretches of AF. Things will taper naturally.
