Hey, thanks for the support folks and the very accurate image of me in the lawn chair spitting chew!

Last week was another interesting one. 3AF days (a first) and lowest total to date. In fact, down to "safe/moderate"
drinking levels in the US. Who woulda thunk it?

I did have one semi-blowout night. Had a taste of whiskey at a party and didn't want to stop. So I didn't. Just gotta stay away from that tempting fluid.

Drinking is still on my mind and still a craving each evening. Some more so than others. But it's less powerful and it seems to get even less so after the first beer. So extinction seems to be continuing slow and steady.

Marching on the the rest of y'all!

Hey Tiller,

That is great news. "Healthy levels" is very good. And the AF days are a great sign! The more of them you can string together the better TSM will work for you. The more AF days there are the more powerful that suggestion is in your mind...."like why bother?" Keep going and you'll get there.

Happy March!

Best Wishes,

Tiller, that is so great! And once again, our current experiences seem to be parallel, w/ the AFs and slow decline in #s. But I DO envy your "healthy levels"...my doc says for women, it is 1 unit per day, what a hard ass. :(

You're doing an incredible job, Tiller. Keep it up, and you'll be at the end of this march before you know it.

Thanks again for all you've shared on this forum. You're quite a prolific source of support.

Hey Tiller

Well done on your progress. You and Hess are doing so well (I should say "great" as that is more American) and I can see you are also fantastic support for one another. 3 days Af - that is awesome.
Keep up the good work!

Cheers
Sticky ;)

Thanks Stick. And very funny. I had no idea what "so well" meant until you translated! :)

Hey, I thought of you a few weeks back when Bret Mckenzie won the Oscar for best song. My kids and I loved (and miss) the Conchords show. Don't worry: we actually know a bit more about NZ than just that. But it made me wonder what Bret and Germain's rep is with you and yours.

NZ is on my "must visit in this life" list.

Quick update.

Another good, "normal week." Except a close family member hospitalized. I was on call for the sleeping overnight shift so I brought a flask with me. But on the most stressful night I decided I wanted to stay sober and alert and did so. Nor did I binge last night.

Nor will I let myself tonight.

Willpower is more possible for me with TSM.

Hi folks:

Last week was both taxing and enjoyable. Dealing with the hospital, then did some good traveling.

Got a bit off-course with all of this happening but I'm not overly concerned. AF last night and will get back to exercise and the TSM/behavior mod protocol this week.

How's everyone else doing?
