Oh no hello! That is worrying news. Do you mean that you are getting depressed becuase you are not drinking? Or is it a separate issue altogether?

Well, if the guilt is due to the things you did while you were drinking, then it is probably for the best to address all of these negative things out in the open and try and work past them. Do you have a therapist you can consult about these matters?

I am getting more into spirituality and meditation...This guilt has been with me for last 8 years.....and that is what caused me to drink.....But I have to overcome that somehow...I can not take back my past mistakes..MAY GOD help me and everyone..

Thanks eveyone. I am just curious to know, how long will it take for to reverse the damage done to my body by alcohol. I was drinking 1.5 L beer almost everyday for 10 years.

Hello, I think the damage to your body is already gone :) our bodies are resilient things, and unless your liver was so damaged as to develop cirrhorsis or something like that, you should be fine (anyways, the liver is the only self-regenerative organ!!)
