From what I have read about Naltrexone side effects, ringing-in-the-ears or "tinnitus" is not a major side effect, yet it is listed as a possible side effect.
I have mild tinnitus as it is, probably from my exposure to noise at work for 30+ years. And, yes, I do notice on occasion my tinnitus becomes more pronounced and noticeable about 30 minutes after taking Naltrexone, but before drinking. Apparently, it disappears during my drinking regimen. It's hard to notice when something like ringing in our ears lessens, unless we are really concentrating on it.
Do you get tinnitus every time you take Nal, or occasionally as I do? Is it single high pitch tone? Multiple tones? A cacophony of bells? or a roar?
I hear about two, maybe three high pitch tones mainly in my left ear.
