It sounds like TSM is working for you! It's a long process, we didn't get addicted over night and TSM won't work over night but it will work.
I can identify with the self loathing the next day, they why did I do it, the why didn't I control myself, the I'm a loser, I deserve to feel bad etc... We're not losers, we don't deserve to feel bad, we have a problem that most people don't have or understand, it's not our fault that we are addicted to alcohol any more than it's not our fault that we need glasses. We have difficulty reading, we get glasses, we have difficulty drinking moderately, we do TSM, the only difference is that TSM is slower and harder but it does work.
Try to accept that there will be nights that you over do it, it's going to happen so try not to beat yourself up about it, the good news is that this will happen less and less often until you are controlling your drinking and not it controlling you.
A tip for you is to always eat something with protein and drink a large glass of water before you start drinking, hunger and thirst makes us crave alcohol.
