I just started on Saturday April 11th.

If anyone else started in the April we can compare notes and the such, just like the March Starters did.

April 4th was the first day for me. I got my meds a few days before that, but I was planning on being AF for two days, so I don't count my progress 'till the 4th. Count me in for comparing notes

Going OK so far, I guess. I'm drinking tonight, even though I wasn't going to. After band rehearsal (5 drinks) I noticed my wine bottle was a bit short - only three drinks left in it. Normally I would have gone to the beer store for more, but I thought I'd make do with my wine and the one beer I had in the fridge. I think this is probably due to the drink tracking more than the Nal. I'm only on week two so I don't expect grand results from the medication. Tracking my drinking has been really useful, and even though they say to drink "as normal" I think I will try to cut down while i'm doing the Method. I just don't want to keep drinking like I was before, and feel like I can't wait 6 months for this to work.

I also know that this takes patience!

Well April Starters...

Took my Nal tonight.... had 2 drinks and was done. Tired, headache, but done... Honeymoon I'm sure, but I'm glad because at least I had it for one night.

I'm going to beat this.

Somewhere I should start singing a showtune or broadway hit, but I am changing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, honeymoon or not, a night with only two drinks sounds like a winner to me. I was going to have a few tonight, but I got distracted and didn't take my Nal until I was too tired to drink anyway. For me it was not honeymoon, not Sinclair Method, just pure work related exhaustion - I'll take it!

I am in too! I started April 4th and am so hopeful.

The day I found this site on the computer (quite by accident) my entire focus changed. I never dreamed of such a thing as TSM. I often wonder how many other poor souls have no idea there is help. Talking to my doctor was one of the hardest things of have done as I was ashamed. My doctor researched this site and readily wrote me the script. I realize I am so fortunate to have a doctor like this. It is hard to imagine how much of an impact TSM could have on our societies. I know of many individuals that are currently suffering lives of quiet desparation not knowing this is available.

I am convinced that TSM will work for me and I'm excited to have April Starters share ups and downs so we can compare notes. I read all the post for the month starters before me so I can get an "idea" of what to expect and to not feel so let down when I have an off day.

Make sure you take supplements and drink lots of water. I take advil before Nal for the headache and it works for me.
