Like others before me, a life free of worry about alcohol has kept me busy doing other things. I will always feel grateful for this forum and the people on it (at all stages of their journey). In the interests of "reporting back" from time to time, here is my current graph:

I no longer need to track units because the default is "zero" and I can easily remember when I last had a drink. I had a single glass of wine with a fabulous dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday in February. I will probably drop the graph in July, two years after starting.

I think it's fairly clear that for some people, probably even most people, TSM simply works. I am lucky (and grateful) that I am one. I remain peeved that it's so hard for people to even get the chance to try it, to see if it works for them.

While not intentional, I appear to have also dropped an additional 7 pounds since I essentially quit drinking, despite adding a small portion cup of dark chocolate to my evening routine. A bonus gift from TSM :D

A thing of beauty! Great to hear of another miraculous case for TSM. Sometimes TSM works fantastically. I only wish it worked predictably as well for everyone. I hope the stellar success stories don't discourage others who take much longer to respond. I think that the true value of Nick et al and this site is to have TSMers 'keep the faith' long enough too reach a therapeutic result. The response to Nal seems so varried.
I, too, am fortunate to have had a text-book treatment course/'cure'. I also lost ten pounds in the past six months.

I feel almost slightly embarrassed sometimes given how straightforward my experience was. I sort of have to push myself to post because it feels a bit self-congratulatory - even though it was a small pill that did the work.

On the other hand, TSM is fighting a bit of an uphill battle sometimes, and I feel it's equally important to make sure that some simple successes are out there to counter some of the negativity and BS from AA and the Rehab Industry.

PV, your cure is one of the most impressive on the board. The change that has occurred in your life via TSM will leave some people searching for explanations other than TSM works. They will not be able to wrap their heads around it because if it worked like this for you then everything they thought they knew about alcoholism is wrong. Thanks for coming back and giving us the view from almost 2 years out and congratulations on getting your life back. I started almost exactly 1 year after you so I'll be curious to see where I am next year.

Hi PlainVanilla

Thanks for your post. Your progress has been amazing! It is inspirational for me while I'm still on the roller coaster.
