I came across the origins article mentioned in this posting topic the other day (and was really ticked off by it too!)... and tonight I stumbled on this post about it quite by accident.
I just wanted to point out (being a bit of a search engine geek), that if you dislike or disagree with an article out there on the internet, DON'T include the link on this site (or any other site).... Google, while crawling over this site will see the origins article links posted in this thread by very well-meaning participants and conclude that it is a good article that should continue to appear in search engine results. (In fact, maybe part of the reason i stumbled on that dumb origins thing was because the links on this site gave it credibility for google)....
So - golden rule of SEO (search engine optimization) - never post a link to an article you can't stand or that you strongly disagree with... and always post links to articles you do agree with (and don't want to see buried).
