A month slipped by and I'm late on posting my 20 month chart, but here it is:

Image
I noticed in the entire last 3 months, I drank a six pack. 3 years ago (pre-TSM, a six-pack was a typical night). Thank you, medical community! Thank you, Dr. Sinclair! Thank you, Dr. Eskapa! Thank you, N101CS for this forum and your generosity! Thank you, forum members!

Bob

That's a beautiful chart, Bob! Thank you for continuing to post here. I have been reading through a lot of threads from the people that are on the cured list, including yours. It's an inspiration to those of us who are earlier on in the process. Please continue to drop by once in a while. It is much appreciated.

Ditto Merlot's post--it's much appreciated that those of you who have been on TSM long term keep us in the trenches here updated. I don't want peepers who visit the site to look at the numbers of relatively new people like me and use it as a reason to say that TSM doesn't work (look at her, she's still drinking 50+ units a week). Yeah, but preTSM I'd been KILLING myself with 126 units/week with no hopes of being able to stop. I hope more of your "cured" compadres continue to check in periodically and let us know how they're doing, rally the troops.

Bob, thanks for posting. I know you're leaving us in 16 days or so. When you do, at least give us a chance to say goodbye. I don't come here as often as I'm not obsessed with AL or TSM as I was.

If I miss your last post, Thanks for all the support and I fully understand why people drift away from the board. It's hard to see it happening to oneself when one is new and gung ho about spreading the word, but it happens. I think one of the great things about TSM is that it lifts the obsession. This also makes it hard for TSM to compete with other programs like 12 step, where the "patient" usually stays obsessed with AL and recovery. It's easier to spread the word that way.

Thank you for sticking around as long as you have

I am glad to hear that the addiction and the obsession is gone. I'm also glad that you understand that when your thinking becomes normal again, the inevitable drift away from TSM proselytizing occurs. That's not to say we don't tell other people about how we kicked alcoholism. It's just that we do it on a rather informal, casual, and matter-of-fact way now.

I'm convinced there is an array of addictions that can be cured by Naltrexone taken only before one engages in the undesirable activity. Over-eating, gambling, and most illicit drugs are excellent candidates. The medical world will catch up with us. We just stumbled on a method created by a man ahead of his time, Dr. Sinclair.

Bob

This may likely be my last post on this thread. I also will not be visiting weekly after this next week. In my case, TSM has been a resounding success. It has proven over and over to be everything that it has been claimed to be, time estimates not withstanding.

Here are the weekly, monthly, and quarterly graphs for the past 91 weeks, 21 months, and 7 quarters respectively:

There is one final experiment I want to perform (on myself) to prove TSM efficacy. It will be performed sometime this week and reported this upcoming weekend. I'll post the results in a new thread.

Best wishes for everyone!

Bob

Bob, thanks for all you've contributed to this board. Your story and success will continue to inspire others hoping to overcome their addiction to alcohol. I appreciate the thoroughness with which you documented your journey. It was a great help. I can't wait to read about your final TSM experiment.

Bob,

I just scrolled down far enough to see you had done your official sign off. I'm sure your wife will be happy to have you back. Thank you for posting your journey with TSM and how it relates to your experiences before. Your story has been such a source of hope for me when I had doubts through my own journey and I will be forever grateful for that. Take care and I wish you only the best!!! Thank you, BTDT

I am glad to have been part of this treatment and part of this family of forum. Please keep TSM alive!

I have one last installment that I'll post as a separate thread in which I document my "final" experiment.

Love,
Bob
