Ocean says just pick 'm and make a salad. I'm concerned about insecticide and dog doo. There is some dandelion in the mesclun I get at the grocery store. I also drink Yogi Tea detox, which is mainly dandelion and burdock.

I live in North CA USA and we have wonderful stores with organic produce.
I got in the habit a having a daily large salad for my lunch and when my liver test indicated a compromised liver, I switched my greens to dandelion greens, easy to purchase here in a bundle
They are bitter, but I love them and I always have dried cranberries in my salad so that makes a nice combo.

I have friends that harvest their own greens in the spring, but of course, without the poo and pesticides!

Yesterday I steamed some dandelion greens and thought I would have them with butter YUM! OH NO! They were unpalatable, very yucky taste. I was surprised. So I suggest fresh and raw. You will love the taste as it grows on your palate.

In healthy eating! XX0
Maybe later I can type out my salad recipe, it's yummy! (and healthy)

juice in a magix bullet and then plug your nose when you drink it
use strawberry's and some juice, with a banna.

it tastes ok. make small portions with lots of leaf, but the root is what you really want.
it is all in the root.

Apparently milk thistle clears the liver and encourages new and healthy cells to grow but you have to go to a naturopath or homeopath to get really good and pure milk thistle. If you buy any old milk thistle from a store it is impure and has a bunch of uneccessary ingredients in it. Dandelion is good too but again everyone will sell you anything but you have to get a good source. READ Labels. It made a difference to me.

MWO is good. I wouldn't worry about them because they are in the business of recovery. I just question every hick town health food store. Look for a brand that has been inspected by a reputable organization and then after that check for exteraineous ingredients. For example, it is ok to see cellulose as an ingredient because that is vegetable fibre but not a bunch of stuff you don't know what it is. I guess what I am saying is read labels and know what stuff is. Do you know that monosodium glutamate has about ten different names on labels and that aspartame has ten different names as well!!. There are people who have died from aspartame over dose and they didn't even know it. One person thought she had cancer and she stopped with the diet sodas and got better. It is not the same for everyone but I am saying watch out for chemical manipulation. Do research. Best wishes. :D
