I never weighed in on this one but yes Jane, I'm one of the ones that was having the way worse hangovers on less AL since Nal (lovely rhyme lol). I can't wait to hear how the drunk saga of the brothers unfolds today

I felt similarly last night. I was so tired, didn't feel like drinking much. My husband had a rough week and was going out with the guys after work. By the time it hit 9pm and he wasn't home yet I knew I didn't want to be home and have to hear about it while he was drunk and I was tired. So I had three glasses of wine while watching some TV and went to bed a little before 10pm. He didn't get home too much later but drank some more after getting home. He got up several times during the night because of headache/heartburn and I had to ask him to go into the spare bedroom and stop disturbing my sleep. I got up feeling great this morning and took my daughter to dance class. My son told me hubby got up not too much before we got home at 1045am. We all just did a bit of shopping and got some lunch and he's already napping again (it's now about 1:30pm here). That used to be me!!!!!

My hangovers are worse  . We had a party F night and I drank on a somewhat empty stomach. Sat was totally wasted with me sitting on the couch sipping beers trying to "hair of the dog" it out  . Sun was better, but here it is M and I'm really shaky.

I've been at this about 10 months now, and no real improvement in my weekend bingeing. Wondering if I should go to 100mg. I'm 6'0" 195 lbs.

In the past, I've taken a month or so off, and it does re-set the Al thermostat and seems to help.

The guilt is definitely there, as I'm setting a bad example for my teens and wasting 1-2 days of every week by being too hungover to live life.

Hi IL, Well the saga is over, thank GOD! I love my brother-in-law but.....he is definately a "trip". And a very CHEAP son-of-a-bitch! We have 3 vehicles, Rich & I each have cars, then we've a truck for hauling stuff around. Whenever Kenny comes we let him take one of the cars. While he had it the battery went dead. Ya think getting a free car for the week he"d at least offer to purchase the battery?? Noooooo. The night bafore we took him to the airport he was completely squashed. Don't think he felt too good getting up at 5AM either.
Anyway, that's over for another year. :D Pretty much back to normal.
Thanks for asking
ALWAYS, JANE
ps. tomorrow til thurs. will be trigger days. Everytime rich is off. It is for sure, working primarily out of habit now.
These NAL hangovers SUCK!! And only after 3 or 4 glasses of wine! :?

Yo Sinedoc! I hear ya! How long have you been doing tsm? Maybe if you tried 75 first for a while? I know I can go many days now without AL, but before, I could easily drink everyday. Don't stress as much anymore but the triggers are freaking me out. And the biggest is when my Husband is home. That's when we go out to dinner. Sometimes to the local & that can be bad because everybody is buying you drinks! Sometimes I don't remember how many I had. Not good. :( But do what you feel comfortable with. I think if I was not happy with my progress I'd for sure try 75 then 100. If THAALWAYS, JANET didn't work....don't know what I'd do. Good Luck whatever you decide. :)

Hi IL! Actually, I was not partying. I partyed only 1 day while Kenny was here. And that's enough. Tonight I need to be careful, it's a trigger night. Always is when Rich is home. I'm also getting off benzo's. My Dr. gave me some meds. for withdrawals. Feeling very tired & my big mouth is dry as a bone. I will persevere. Should be back on track by week-end I hope. Can't drink like I used to. Hangovers are a bitch!! And only on a few glasses of wine!
Kenny is an Air conditioning/Refridgeration Tech. Does't do too bad in the $$$ dept.. Just CHEAP! I love him but I hate cheap-skates. If Rich was like him, I'd walk. San Diego is beautiful! We love it. Do you live near the Self-Realization Center?
Hope you have a great day!
ALWAYS, JANE :)

I was just kidding 'cause your post seemed a little garbled. And I can't stand cheap skates either. My own brother is one BIG TIME! Any way, no I don't live near there and in fact I had never heard of it. I'm closer to downtown/mission valley if you know the area. Very convenient to everything. We love it too!

Hey guys! Haven't had a HO in a while. Yaaaa! Hey IL, Hope all is well with you. I don't know the downtown section, it's been a while since we've been there. The name of the stadium is San Deigo Chargers. Would like to go back some time. Be cool if we could meet!
Take Care All, Missed ya! ;)

:o Wow, only 7 drinks F night and a horrid, 2-day hangover(ho) :!: Shaky today (M), and had to vegetate on the couch all weekend again  . I'm wondering if this is part of the mechanism of extinction. Possibly due to the absence of endorphins? Either way, feeling like crap on a stick :!: :(
