I currently use the ReVia brand of Naltrexone. I think this is the original brand? It's working for me... And I definitely don't want to change my meds... But in NZ we can only get ReVia on prescription for 6 months. So the fact is I will have to start buying online in the not too distant future. I'm worried about using the 'generics' as I'm scared they won't be as good??? It would be great to hear who is using what brands and where they are buying from.

I have a prescription I get filled at the pharmacy in the grocery store. It is a generic. I don't know who makes it.

It is a round, yellow/tan tablet. One one side is the number "9", on the other side is "50" and "902".

Whatever it is, it works.

i have had the same question. to date i have used nodict, ordered from river pharmacy. as i am not having the decreases in units that many others are having, i decided to switch brands. yesterday i got my first delivery of naltima from alldaychemist. it will be interesting if i start seeing a change. won't prove anything really, but i'm hoping. btw, alldaychemist has better prices than river.

ps. on a purely personal preference basis, the nodict has a smooth coating and may dissolve a little slower, the naltima is not coated and unless you are careful to get it down very quickly you may taste it, very bitter.

My prescription bottle says "Naltrexone 50mg Tablets" and was filled by Walgreens Pharmacy in the US. It is a round, tan tablet with "b" on one side, and 50 -- 902 on the other side (sounds like the same as mlb.) I am switching to filling at Costco today, because it is cheaper there. I will be curious to see if I get the exact same tablet. I will let you know!

Here's something I would have NEVER envisioned thinking about 4 months ago: The cheapest way to buy Nal at Costco is 180 at a time. At my current dose of 100mg, that would give me 90 days. The expiration date is 1 year, so I would have to use 90 doses in a year, which would be about 4 days a week. At the moment, that seems like way too much!?! I think this stuff is working!!

I take either Naltima-50 (from Alldaychemist.com) or Nodict (from canadianonlinepharmacy.info my first order and very expensive). They both seem to work fine. The Naltima-50 are not scored in half like the Nodict so they would not be easy to split without a pillsplitter if you are taking 25 or 75mg. Both are manufactured in India.

I'm taking Barr Laboratories Naltrexone.

I suppose it must be a Generic- expensive tho!

It has a hexagon witha line coming from it on one side (so it loogs like a b or a nine)

other side has a 50 and a 902 and it appears to be working!

After reading yogagirl's description, I looked at my pills again. The side that I said had a "9" might instead be a "b". It sounds like we have the same pills, though.

I have the same brand as zero nine, mlb and yogagirl. It is the generic and with the same numbers and/or letters on the pills.

It is manufactured by Barr Laboratories in Pomona, NY for Teva Pharmaceuticals.
