I think you're mixing your units. A unit of alcohol in England is 10ml, but a unit in the US is 17.7ml. I was using the first because 10 is easier on my poor brain. A bottle of 13.3% chardonnay contains ten UK units, but only 5.65 US units. I guess that means that you can easily cut down on your alcohol drinking just by moving to the US.
Your 1.75l bottle of vodka contains roughly 40 US units. Half of said bottle is only 20 US units.
So, since you're drinking in America, 5 x 7 bottles of wine (accounting for spillage, I presume) + 40 x 1/2 bottle of vodka = 55 US units
