I just read 8's post and am so concerned, also, I am sick with the H1N1 flu and am signing off soon as I feel like I have been hit by a very large truck..........but I wonder if someone who likes researching, might look into Deplin for possibly helping with NAL absorption as it helps with antidepressant absorption. Is working wonders for me. (see my post to 8 Post subject: Please help me my friends - I am at rock bottom) Some of us who are older and have mucked our brains up over the years with whatever.....AL, drugs, meds, etc may need a little cleaning out......Ok. I am off to bed. Hopefully will be reading again soon.

Take care all.....oink!

http://www.deplin.com/DeplinFacts,HowItWorks

According to the Deplin website it aids in the production of dopamine, norepinephrine and serotonin. It doesn't mention any interaction or effect on the opioidergic system or endorphins.

Apparently drug interaction studies for Naltrexone and anything other than opiates haven't been done:
"Studies to evaluate possible interactions between REVIA and drugs other than opiates have not been performed. Consequently, caution is advised if the concomitant administration of REVIA and other drugs is required. "

http://www.rxlist.com/revia-drug.htm

So there's no documented interaction between Deplin and Nal.

i found this very old post and thought i waould ask our current members about this drug. anyone know anything about it? i agree that it is unlikely to potentiate naltrexone, i was wondering if it might be useful for me with anti- depressant efficacy.
