What's up with that? I will again say I was pretty much a daily drinker for probably 15yrs. Only within past 1yr or so, kinda binging. I used to buy those 5 liter boxes of cheap wine & after work immediately hit the fridge til bedtime or pass-out time. Could easily pop one of those suckers in less than 3 days, all by myself. OMG! In June found tsm, read book got Nal & began. No ill effects from start except a little light-headed & sleepy. Wore off in 2 days. So, for whatever reason, I started this bindge thing mostly in part to certain triggers. If I have a few with friends it is enough to want to stop on the way home for more. However, since Nal those episodes are easier to control. I still tend to do it, & it scares me. Now, since Nal, I do not drink nearly as before. Will go all week without, then boom. Hard to keep track but units going down for sure. So, how come after 6 drinks of whatever, I feel sooo drunk! Only did 1 stupid thing. Pretty good for me. But next morning hangover??? On 5liters of vino I got up & went to work at 4:30AM everyday. Whaaaaaa??
Thanks for listening

Hey Jane,I just had a conversation with my doctor about my drinking patterns..Pre AA,I was a daily drinker..I rarely got drunk..Just maintained a buzz all day..Pretty much,2 an hour..Where this became a problem, was when I couldn't sleep..I became a 24\7 drinker..After AA,And I assign this to Alcohol deprivation,I became a binge drinker..Abstinent then relapse and insane amounts of al per binge..My thought process was always,"well this is the last time,so lets do it up".Anyways,I have come to the conclusion that it is much safer to be a daily drinker on tsm, than a binge drinker in AA..With tsm I am able to maintain six or less beers a day so far..My relapses in AA would last for months..Drinking anywhere from 12 to 24 beers a day..I am only 2 weeks into this..I have resided to being a daily drinker..I tried an af day last week and it turned into a binge..Binging is just not safe or healthy for me..Hope this helps..Have a good day...Goodman
