If tsm works for you a "slip" can never be the full horror it used to be . Unless you vary how you take NAl .
In fact 18 months into tsm I find myself regularly drinking ,, drinking regularly is the norm and it causes me no problems . Yet I'm not entirely happy with this ,, I wonder what I can do to do better . Further extinction or further effort or both . They're both valid but before even considering them I need to sure up my silly slip . My slip is all about lunchtime drinking . Nothing wrong with lunchtime drinking (unless you vary how you take NAL Lunchtime drinking is pretty rare for me except in the holidays and I'm now finshing a few weeks off work where lunchtime drinking has become more frequent . I had it in the back of my mind that NAL was good for 24H so I was covered but frankly it amounts to drinking 18/20 H after the last NAL and surely its less effective than the previous night ? Perhaps I thought I'd get the old buzz as a rare treat , just abit ? Well if anyone else sees themself in this and I 've seen it mentioned sometimes ( Mario ? ) really do watch this because if it happens half a dozen times
as is my case .... well I just feel this is a " slip" of kinds . A slip back towards re addiction .
No good crying over spilt milk its done now . The result is that old familiar feeling of thinking about drinking being preoccupied with it etc, etc , etc !
I don't like where I'm at now .I should make amends the best way possible . So .....
The first thing to do is I'll always do NAL for a lunch drink now .

ALWAYS !

Do be careful with this folks , it can creep up on you !

That happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I just started drinking without even thinking about it, and then realized I hadn't taken my Nal. Four days in a row. Finally I got back with the program and have stayed with it since, but it's easy to slip. Mostly it's just developing a habit so ingrained that it's almost automatic. Thanks for the reminder.
