Although some "cured folks" can do that, I can no longer do it. The most I could do in a single night in 2010 was 5 in one eight hour period at Karaoke night in Houston, Texas , and that was back in May. Any more, 3 gives me a headache the next day. So it's 2 for me from here on out. Or maybe none at all.

Hey DomD and Bob --

I'm so glad you guys are having continued success as am I. Please weigh in on my progress thread as there is a little debate going on about the efficacy of TSM. WTE and HouTX are making the argument that TSM does not work for most people and this DEFINITELY does not square with my experience here. I welcome your comments on this important subject. I'm concerned people will see the negativity and conclude TSM isn't worth trying.

ehhhhhhh - keep your shirt on, Nick. We're just making our comments and you know I have always been a cheerleader of this method. No need to haul out the big guns, I am not here to dispel any "myths" for heavens sakes, of TSM.

As I have said, for the umpteenth time, EVERYONE should try TSM for AT LEAST 6-12 months. I was on it for almost 18 mos...but good grief - it just doesn't work for everyone, ok?! We knew that going in. 78% is GREAT, but then there's a lot of folk who fall into the 22%, and that's all.

Be prepared, it may not work for all you good people out there. But TRY IT and see! It brings great hope, is easy and surely, if you follow the protocol of counting drinks, keeping a journal & all that great stuff, it will probably work for the "vast majority" in some way, shape, or form. The other good news is that are NO side effects!!!

oh sigh............just take your NAL 1 hr b4 drinking for the next year or so...go up to 75/100 mgs if needed & see what happens. I am only wishing everyone the very best!!
No need to circle the wagons, captain! :-))

XO

Thanks for posting your update. I read your first post and your last. What a change. Just starting out it helps to see the progression so I do appreciate the update. Funny about the exercise. I ride horses and I've noticed that the nal makes me less interested. I figuring a few af days will be nice for this when I'm ready. Take care, btdt

DOMD,

Thanks for posting. I am new to this and I find it really helpful to see that this does work. Your units are so mellow that if I achieve that I won't have to worry again. I really believe this is where I will end up. It would be nice to not have to rely on naltrexone and simply not desire alcohol. Your experience means more than you realize. Thanks, BTDT
