Hey fellow TSMers, I'm SO very sorry about this, but I think I put the cart before the horse. I posted my doctor's info here right after she agreed to support me in TSM. I was so excited and wanted to help others looking for a doc in the DC area. Well, I just saw her again after 4 months and she mentioned that she's heard from some people about TSM (from this forum of course) and she basically said she's happy supporting me since she's my primary care physician, but doesn't feel comfortable taking on more TSM patients. She mentioned that she didn't even respond to the inquiries which I think is just crap---at least communicate that you don't want to take on TSM patients!!! Anyway, I'm not thrilled about this, but I did tell her I'd remove her name from this post which I just did. Again, so sorry and good luck finding a doctor!!

These are small victories, but I think they are very important. I suspect Drs talk to each other, especially about things that are new or different (and more importantly - effective) in their practices, and this sort of gradual diffusion of TSM into the world-view of practicing doctors can only help!

It's really exceedingly to hear about such a doctor who has noted how this goes down and the kind of "profile " of patient she sees as well suited .
I would so love to have a comprehensive view of how well this is spreading , we're all out there in different pockets . I look at Ben's video on You tube and how many watched it .
At any rate let's be happy that it is spreading around .
I still wonder if I'm the only person here in France doing this . I just told a colleague to get his mother check it out , she's actually in the states and doing antabuse , god forbid .
Well lets hope she takes on tsm .
I've just presented tsm to a mens group here , they were very interested , as none of them are alkies its more likely they'd hear through a third person that someone is in trouble and could benefit but they vow to remember tsm .
Let's just keep chipping away !!

Yes, TSM seems to be spreading and I'm glad that you, like me, are helping get the word out!

God forbid anyone try antabuse these days, it's like suggesting a lobotomy when someone has mental disturbances!

She might really a good doctor for her patients so you might post some information on how to make contact to her. Doctors in McLean, Virginia is quite experts.
