Update

Out of surgery. No problems.

IU recommend any kind of syrgery like this,....just get a spinal. Don't even get any anesthesia. The spinal turns your lower torso into mush. You feel NOTHING.
I was awake during the whole surgery, asking questions, they showed me some meniscus cartillage, I suggested we should contact Jeffrey Dahmer or get some fava beans and do some silence of the lambs,,,

Now, I am waiting on my meds from the Mrs,....oxycodone. Should be here in a few hours. Don't want to take but they said absolutely no alcohol afterwards....

So last night, I caved anf had 4 more non nal brews.....but here's the exciting part. AFTER 4 I was cool. No jones.

So now i just need to force those 2-4 drink days as opposed to 6-8 and dial in the natural taper.

Thanks all for everything. The only other thing I know y'all wanna know is if the oxy works. I will report later tonight hopefully in a blissful state. Tonight will be 72 hours since my last NAL (I took one SAturday night) so hopefully it'll work....report later, best and tahnk you all so much....Emerald, I will be sending you some NAL, I got your address from somebody (in a few days). Best Jim

I did notice your post was about the Nal, the drugs and AL, and the part about the drinking wow so encouraging for you and the Mrs. You're so close can't wait to see your name on the cure list. :D

Spinal update,

I guess I spoke too soon, but then again, I won the pain lotto. (very rare this happens in males)

I had a spinal headache,...translation, when they poked my spine, there was a hole that leaked spinal fluid into my system after the surgery, hence, there was a lack of pressure in my brain and neck,...translation translation,....my brain rested on my cranium and I had severe headache and neck pain unlike anything I've ever had,...It was bad Wednesday but when I lied down I was fine,...by this morning, I woke up with a headache and when I got up I had 30 seconds before the excruciating pain of my neck and head plus lets add some nausea just to mess with you a bit more.....

Solution a blood patch,...they shoot you with your own blood in the location of the spinal and it coagulates and blocks the hole. Basically it fixed it immediately,....My back feels like hell but he said it would because blood was injected into my spine......my knee is great BTW as the surgeon kicked butt.

I feel normal except for my back. Soooooooooooo....tomorrow I start TSM again. 1 week. I hope I haven't backslid too much. I speak with complete honesty because there will be more in my situation and we must educate each other,,,,....

I also never really felt the effect of 10 mg of oxycodone, from what I gleaned from the Dr., that's a pretty small dose. 20 mg. is no big deal it seems.....but so you all know I have no interest in becoming a junkie,...I just wanted pain relief...and 10 mg was nothing in terms of pain relief.....

Anyone had experience with pain meds? I was just angry that here i had some meds that are supposed to be strong and I felt nothing and I wonder if it really was the NAL still blocking....maybe it was just a baby dose,.....opinions? I had 5 mg tabs of oxycodone and they suggested 10 mg every 4 hours.

This will be the last post of me on this and I'll let this thread die thank you everyone,...My knee is rockin great and I don't think except for one night I got very drunk this past week and even then I wasn't loaded......Back to TSM tomorrow, I'm stoked! Best, Jim
