A vivid story and an example of the challenges that face us as alcohol loses its place as the center of our life. I hope and expect for your progress to continue.

I guess I have an odd sense of humor. I laughed so much when I read the misspelled word "posting"! Posing and Posting are such different words and changes the meaning so much, that I just couldn't help myself.

I had many weeks like this on my journey. And like you, my worst TSM weeks were always leagues better than my pre-TSM days because I didn't lose control while drinking, embarrass myself, blackout conversations or go to bed wasted only to wake up with no memory of the night before. So, sit tight, it's just part of the ride. And props to you for identifying those triggers: loneliness, boredom, etc. are huge triggers for almost anyone and a good way to look at it is that you just chipped away at those triggers.

I like this. The idea that I chipped away at triggers on the lake this weekend when I drank 10 units. it's definitely one of my favorite places to drink and the hardest place to stay sober. thanks guys for being here. it is because of these posts that I won't lose confidence when and if I spike, and can identify and appreciate the fact that I haven't blacked out or puked or made an ass of myself since I started TSM

Whats interesting to me is that at first glimpse, its like every alkies dream/.....You mean I can drink? And as the time goes on you put it so well,...they use this description in MEthadone clinics....liquid handcuffs. Its not quite like that,...but to your point DOMD, a chore. I'm 2 units in and clocking the time

Its 11 PM here and I have work to do,...Just got back from my first swim in decades and am doing some indoor gardening getting ready for summer...too much stuff to do,...and for those of you tracking me (sorry quick hijack), I was getting ready to do my evening toke of POT and said ,..nah, have too much to do for the indoor gardening...I will probably do it later,...but the mental is like...are you serious,..cmon,...you got better s++it to do...

Anyways,..thanks DOMD for that..Best, Jim

I fully get where you are coming from as regards the other site and I have to keep reminding myself that my first priority is to doing TSM properly not to selling it to people who want to pick holes in the method regardless. I too am happier when I reprt lower units there but we must be true or really posting there at all is a waste of time. What we want is for someone who is interested and tries it to have an accurate picture of what to expect. I have to keep reminding myself not to 'dress it up' to prevent criticism. Im a big girl now and I can deal with them and I know for a fact that you can too.

We will keep an eye out for each other.
