 Post subject: Baclofen has a Halocarbon

Whatever that means - I read it on MWO and recall something from the past about antidepressants causing cancer due to this halocarbon or something.

Any input from all you brain-e-acks out there? I'd rather keep drinking than quit to find out I got cancer from taking something that helped me quit. OHHHH the irony.

Claremont, I've searched all over the internet and MWO and nowhere did I find anything about Baclofen and cancer if anything medical professionals use baclofen to help cancer patients with their treatments. I think if there is anything to worry about it would be the liver from AL that would do you in before baclofen.

Hi Claremont,

FYI - the reference to "halocarbon" on the MWO site is here - page 2 about half way down. I would not take this too seriously. Like corkit, I searched the internet for any connection between baclofen and halocarbon and did not find anything. The Wikipedia on halocarbon is here.
