This is great to hear. And to see it happen so quickly is exciting to see. I like the term you used that you "can feel the habit slowly unraveling with each drinking session". Good choice of words. That's exactly what it's like. It's just slower unraveling for us older and longer-term drinkers, but it unravels just the same.

yes, good on ya from me too - and I agree drunk people can be so boring! How I cringe to think of all the folks I bored the heck out of over the years - Actually that's the least of it....but....

you are making such wonderful progress - and you have such a long happy road ahead of you!! Keep the reports coming.

Morning! My, you are doing so well - congrats! It is really amazing how much pressure drinkers put on those who would rather not! I know that most of them are envious of you - so many of our loved ones have problems with alcohol - they say they don't but watch when there's no booze around! There are many volunteers for the grog shop run...

Stay strong! It's hard when it's family but I have decided this summer simply not to hang around with the boozers in the neighbourhood (pretty much everyone!) when I can avoid them without being rude. I need to strengthen myself this year with my new found control over booze before I can have any patience with their pushing drinks on me.

Have a great weekend.
