Let me know if I overlooked anyone else. I'm wondering if we used "Regained control of drinking thanks to TSM" if this list wouldn't be a whole lot bigger?

Yeah, "cured" is a big word, and I don't wanna be too presumptuous (yet). I have definitely "re-gained control of drinking thanks to TSM".

How many of us would have purchased Dr. Eskapa' book if it had been entitled:

"Alcoholism to Regaining the Control of Drinking: Drink Your Way Sober Without Willpower, Abstinence or Discomfort" by Roy Eskapa PhD and David Sinclair PhD

Just curious.

I use the word "cure" with confidence now because so many months have passed without a return to the dark days of alcoholism. Initially, I was hesitant to the word too. But this treatment does what it says it will do.

Good question Bob. Maybe we should have two lists: the cured list and a second list for those who have regained control...

A little over 4 months in, I'm officially ready to declare myself cured. Actually, I was cured by week 6--my honeymoon never ended. I have full control over drinking thanks to TSM.

Thanks again to all on the forum, and good luck to all.

One little note: I took .50mg every drinking session for about the first month. But after my units fell dramatically and cravings basically disappeared, I have since been following a regimen of .25mg when drinking at home and .50mg when drinking out (bar, party, wedding, etc). So far, it's worked out just fine-- my units have stayed low and it keeps side effects to a minimum. I guess I'd only recommend experimenting with .25mg once you consider yourself cured or close to it. If I ever experience increased cravings in the future, I can always go back to .50mg every time, but so far, so good.
