Hey Tox - I just wanted to say hi too. And welcome. I think the app is a very cool idea though I haven't checked it out yet. It reminds me that there are some really innovative ways to get the word out on TSM. I'll definitely be checking out the blog.

Greetings Firebird! I'm glad you like the app idea! I really thought I could reach a global market (that speaks English) quickly and help end some suffering. It would be cool to translate into other languages one day and spread the joy of TSM! Thanks for checking out my blog too!

Hey Mario,

You are my hero,....I wish I was naive in that way,...You must go on hikes and know what nature is.....

I only wish I was that person//...but I am made fun of for thinking that
"The Who" is better than a lot of other rock bands out there today;....They call me Gramps...thats a proud insult I wear....I only wish though that I didn't know what an APP was...

Listen,...you're probably better off not knowing...think of it this way....you have an opportunity to listen to Sgt. Peppers on vinyl on its initial release,...OR you get the remastered version,...45 years later....I'd rather have been there the first time...knowing what an APP is means you weren't there for the first release of Sgt. Peppers....NOT that I'm pegging you a 65 year old person...i'm just saying...Jim

Hah! One does miss a bit of nature when buried in the world of technology. Luckily I have a dog that stares at me when I'm on my computer and we go out for long walks every day, but I do bring my Blackberry and check email and trip over rocks...I hope I fall on my face one day. I hate computers, yet I love them? Why is reality filled with so much duality?

An app is quite simply an "application" for your mobile device (phone). I develop apps for the iPhone which are sold on the iTunes store. You download these little wonders (many are actually useless and crappy) and you have them on your phone to access when needed. For instance, there are amazing guitar tuner apps for sale on the iTunes store, so you can tune your guitar with the help of this application on your phone. There is a flashlight app that makes the screen ridiculously bright so you can find your keys that you drop in the dark. There are apps for everything, from time wasting games to dictionaries to levels and then of course, there is my app about TSM, The Little Miracle Pill that Cures Alcohol Addiction, which is really quite simple. It is like the Cliffnotes version of Dr. Eskapa's book without plagiarism of course! My dream is to get TSM into every alcoholic's hand and stop the suffering, pronto! So far, I think about 200 people have downloaded it from all over the world which is really cool.

Hey Tox.

Am a reluctant computer user and borderline incompetent online -- 46. I got the iPhone as soon as it came out and was just thrilled I had the internet in my pocket, plus emails and IMs. In three years I have not downloaded a single application. Primarily because I'm dumb! So, question one: how do you do it? (I know, 2 plus 2). And more importantly, what are the top ten aps I should get? I like the flashlight idea BTW.

Thanks!

Nick

To help you decide . . . . There's an app for that. Sincerely, a Blackberry user.
