Rosey Palm and the Five Fingerettes did some of their best work on naltrexone.

Very interesting posts- I have only felt a "blah" effect when it comes to exercising, altho I continue right along thru that. Wish I had the extremes many of you here feel...that means you are finding success w/ lesser interest in AL and that's the point. I think the rest will come back as you get used to it.

Bob - it worries me you have lost interest in brushing your teeth (or showering?!) before bed..surely you are kidding?! LOL Work thru it, man!! You must - scary! LOL

I am being very frank and truthful. No joke here. Remember I used to drink every single night for many years. So every nightly activity seems to have been affected to some degree including, unfortunately, showering and brushing teeth. Now, I do force myself to do these things, after all I don't want to be a stinking toothless person. But what used to be a good habit is gone. I just have to relearn it and I will as time passes.

On an opposite effect, I used to be hit-or-miss shaving my hairy face, which for me is/was a morning activity and I never drank in the morning. I used to skip shaving sometimes because of hangovers. Now that I don't have hangovers, because I barely drink and only once a week, I shave every morning. I just feel compelled to.

Bob

I have definitely felt a decrease in sensory pleasures, especially food. Like houtx, I am rather complacent about going to the gym, and have dropped off to only a couple of times a week. Next week I intend to correct this.

Bob: I have felt a bit of depression with TSM, which may in part be due to anhedonia. My guess has always been that this would diminish when I am able to have more (any) AF days. You seem to be able to do this, so I am surprised. At any rate, hang in there.
