SpringerRider is not dead and I guess I would have considered myself an episodic drinker as opposed to the Med drinker.

The Sinclair Method works best with the clear distinct habitual drinker. Since its premise is to extinguish habits, the more clearly defined, the better.

I seemed to have responded to the Sinclair Method with textbook compliance. I wish you luck my friend. Feel free to PM me with questions.

Average AF days 6/wk
Average Drinking < 4 drinks/wk

I now count days on Nal, rather than drinking days.

Thanks for all of the responses. I read the book over the past week and I'm optimistic about this, I'll post up a progress thread soon.

I'm a binger; last night was textbook-bought 8 beers (my dose) and drank them from 6pm-midnight. Also nursed a glass of wine (9 drinks total) towards the end of the night. Pretty bad hangover today; not much accomplished except a light workout. Went to B&N and Borders looking for the book; guess I'll have to order it online. Wish I had my nal; it should be here sometime this week.

I drink only (95% of the time) on F or Sat night; very rarely both. The hangover is too bad if I drink more than 8 beers 1 night per week. This has been going on for over 20 years. Drinking was heavier in college and when single (married 20 years).

Hopefully TSM works just as well for me as for the daily drinkers with the miraculous stories!
