Thanks, Bob. The positive and encouraging accounts help more than anything. I think I fit the profile of those who have had success with the Sinclair Method so I have high hopes. I just hope my husband will stick with me long enough to find out.

From my experience, my wife stuck around, but she had given up on me. There was no closeness, no trust, essentially a loveless relationship resulted because of my alcohol abuse. The alcoholism had done a lot more damage than just to me physically. Even after I was cured, she was still dubious about it. It has taken months for her to realize that TSM really worked. Although she was supportive of any effort I put forth to curb my alcoholism, she still felt alone and abandoned. Even now, we are still allowing time and my better circumstances to allow closeness, trust and love to return. It is likely to take a long time.
