GD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TIDE just made a 49 yd burst for a TD - wish NAL would take away my pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOOOOOO HOOOOOO C'MON HORNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fear of this exact situation is why I stopped taking Naltrexone on the 23rd of December. I have not gone back on it yet. I live in New England and with the snow and traveling, guess I was a bit paranoid. I have had an occasion where I desperately needed morphine upon waking from major surgery and was unable to speak. I never ever want to be in that type of pain again. On a lighter note, due to the consumption over the holidays I decided to go AF for a while. I know right now I am not following tsm but I have 5 days AF and hopefully will do more. Since starting this method I have become more of a daily drinker, before I would have 3 or 4 days AF weekly and then binge. I haven't had a problem with withdrawal and was so worried that I would. Not suggesting that anyone drinking beyond normal limits try this but it has been fine for me. I can already feel a shift in my thinking, attitude and stamina. Guess I needed this break. Happy New Year to all.

Awesome, LaBear!!
You sound like you are in a really good place mentally and I hope it continues. Keep us posted - I am afraid of going off NAL for some reason. Its habit now. I respect and understand your fears...I just keep a NAL bottle practically everywhere. Luckily no one questions it, especially my kids. Should they, though, I am prepared to just tell them "sore throat/allergies" etc...

Hang in there, gf. How's everything else? We haven't heard from you in awhile. Yeah, holidays are the usual bump in consumption, but I am so envious of "several days" AF...I am working up to that. It does make you feel so good, doesn't it?!

We will be ok - as long as we don't freeze to death!! (It's 19 in Houston!! brrrrrrrrrrr)

XO

Houtx, thanks for your support last week I had 6AF days and only 4units, but I wasn't using nal., haven't started back yet. I hadn't planned on the 4units on Saturday......I seem to have a mind set for the moment and am doing fairly well going AF. Not sure what will be my next move. I am really afraid of the opiod sitiuation and accidents. It's my anxiety acting up I presume, ugh.
