I am all for keeping things open -its just that this board in a matter of a couple of months has gotten so spread out. I get on everyday and want to keep up but it takes me several hours to follow the different threads. I don't know if that's typical of any other board out there, probably so...but much as I want to be an active member, I run out of time and concentration.
I find it useful to select the "Notify me when a reply is posted" option right below the area where you type your forum posts and right above the "Submit" button. This will tell the forum software to send you an email when someone replies to a thread you've participated in. The email even includes a link to the specific forum thread.
This option helps me to keep up on conversations I've previously participated in.

I get upset again just typing that. I am a former/semi-hippie from the 70s and very open-minded, but the guy has a picture of his long-haired self (is it real??) with a bird on his head!! I have a hard time w/ his credibility right there. Don't get me started again -
Welcome to Social Networks.

Who knows if it's real or not. Mine isn't. I think the only one of us here posting our real picture is SR.
Krazy Kris and Ocean are also real! I would like to put a real one up for members, but not so keen if someone I know from my business or something comes strolling along!
I did also wonder if putting our progress in our signatures was being helpful for those with slower progress, but seeing as the majority seem to be in favour of it, mine will stay.
I am all for anyone posting their opinions, but I do feel we must remember the primary reason this group was set up was for those of us practising the method, to support each other and compare notes. I think we are going to come under attack from folk with our interests much less in mind than Robert has, and we will find out that Robert is actually on our side, although he may have made a comment or two that made us wonder about that.
Anyway, I hope it is all water under the bridge now, and that we can continue with the task to hand- beating our own addictions, and hopefully when that begins to happen, getting the word out to fellow sufferers.
