Damn, two units per day is officially perfectly healthy, not even close to heavy drinking category! Even if you stay this way for the rest of your life, chances are there won't be any appreciable negative effects (hey, it may even be beneficial).

I am down to 30/week, give or take 2 - and it feels like I am not even drinking! Those 90+/week for the few past years were really taking a toll. Physically I feel so much better now - despite the fact that, nominally speaking, this level of consumption still qualifies as heavy drinking.

Week 17: still a happy camper.

First AF day this week! I literally cannot remember my last one. It's been years. I chair a monthly meeting and usually have to slam a couple beers or glasses of wine to decompress when I get home. But last night I thought "I can skip it tonight" and indeed, I did. I imagine I'll be back to my plateau of 14/week, but as before, I'm pretty happy with that.

Week 18: boring in a good way. Of note this week - an easy AF day. The previous week I had one AF day (the first in memory - literally) but it was easy because I had a meeting that kept me out until almost bedtime anyway. This Wednesday I just had the feeling out of the blue that maybe today could be AF. It turned out to not be too difficult. Although on Thursday I was ready for my two glasses of wine again. Oh well, baby steps.

Well, I still get mildly buzzed on my two measly drinks 8-) but otherwise, yes, it's approaching 90 days!
