Lena, is it .net or .com? My address is saying .net. I can change it so it reads "thesinclairmethod.com" if that's what everyone wants. Also, from what everyone has said just one word does not describe the road we're on so maybe I should take it back to the drawing board, rework it.

Lena, I need some direction here on which way to go with the banner.

thanks
corkit

The permanent site is thesinclairmethod.com. Again, the mirror site is up right now, so if you type thesinclairmethod.com, you will be redirected to thesinclairmethod.net. I am not able to remain logged in on the .net site, but I stay logged in when .com is up. Anyone else have this problem? I use Windows IE8.

I'm ambivalent about using the word "cure." We are taught by Sinclair and Eskapa that "cure" is the word to use. I like de-addicted, which Eskapa often uses in the book. Perhaps that is more accurate as it describes the result of pharmalogical extinction, and doesn't have the same connotation baggage that the C word carries. I'll go along with whatever the group decides.

I've been logged on to the .net site since you mentioned it earlier lena (it's been a few hours now). I'm using the latest version of Firefox.

I forgot the privacy concern that has been raised, and which I share. As for the banner, if you just say thesinclairmethod.com and leave "A community . . ." I think that will be great. Someone glancing over our shoulder might see "cure" or "addiction" and have more info than we wanted to share. Some visit this site at work. I and others use the laptop when family members are around.

While we're on the subject, this might be something we think about with signature line content.

BTW Corkit, I really like your graphic design. I hope you can retain the design when you change the words and that it won't be too much trouble to change it up. Thanks for your work on it.

I like the banner, except the "TSM net" may be confusing, although I had never noticed it before; "TheSinclairMethod com" could replace it for accuracy.

The Sinclair Method as stated by Dr. Eskapa is "the cure". As many of you know, I don't care for the word most of the time; it's a turn-off for most people. I like lena's comment about the term "de-addiction" which Dr. Eskapa uses a lot in his book. I think it is my favorite term and probably the most accurate term regarding TSM. Perhaps "de-addiction" could replace the repeated "the cure".

Whatever terms we agree on, I suggest it be consistent with Dr. Eskapa's book and Dr. Sinclair's method.

Bob

Seeing that privacy was brought up a number of times maybe nothing other than the method should be there. I think Lena brought up the subject of checking the board at work or home around family members that sometimes less said is better (advertising lingo)

The more imput the better I could be wrong about what people first see when they get here.

TSM.net has to be changed if it is not the url of the website.
