Hi Folks,
Week 33 just completed and resolve continues to work in my favour. OK, no significant reduction in units over the last week but, and here's the best bit - it hasn't gone back up. And that is quite something in a week when I have had more than my fair share of higher-than-normal anxiety. Don't know why but that's the nature of this beast.
As a result of starting the thread
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=940, I now have a better idea what I need to watch out for as TSM progresses. Boy, did that thread help to clear up some misunderstandings that I have held about TSM for so long! Consequently, I have started reading
The Cure... once again.
I am due to start on my dietary supplements tomorrow. These are the supplements to help me withdraw from alcohol - supplements that will, hopefully, help my body/brain to restore optimum levels of GABA and other important nutrients. Incidentally, over the last two or three weeks, I have been using Valerian at night to help me sleep and it really appears to do the trick. I'm absolutely chuffed to bits about this because, previously, when I have used herbal remedies, they have had no effect (and that includes Valerian). I think this means that my body/brain has been purged of a shed-load of chemicals that were rendering these gentler remedies useless. Whatever the reason, things are looking up. BTW, I'm still taking Seroxat, albeit at a very low dose - but that won't be for much longer.
So, that's my summary for the week - wonder what I've forgotten to mention!
